Beef and Asparagus Roll

"I like rice. Rice is great if you're hungry and want 2000 of something". (Mitch Hedberg)

I have some left over beef slices sitting in the freezer from steamboat during chinese new year, so I bought some asparagus to make this very easy and delicious Beef and Asparagus Roll. You can basically use any kind of marination sauce of you choice, for example; teriyaki sauce, japanese soya sauce and mirin or barbeque sauce.
I used honey garlic and soya marinate sauce for this recipe. You can also add in other ingredients than what I put below, you can add enoki mushroom or cucumber too.

Beef and Asparagus Roll

-Thinly slices of beef (approximately 20 slices)
- 1 or 2 bunch of asparagus (trimmed)
- Spring onions (sliced them thin and long) , this is optional.
- Marination sauce

- Preheat the oven 180C and oil a baking tray.
- Lay the beef slices, add the asparagus and spring onions roll them tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Brush the beef rolls with marination sauce.
- Bake the beef rolls in the oven, repeat basting after 5 minutes.
- Bake until beef rolls are cooked.
- Once done, take them out from oven and brush them with sauce again.
- Remember to remove toothpicks before serving.
